The Maryland Live! poker room is currently slated to be Maryland’s second official poker room, but is speculated to become one of the largest in the region. The official date given for the opening of the poker room is Wednesday, August 28th, with a controlled demonstration taking place on the 26th.

Rake Structure: $5 max +1 for all HE games, no BBJ +1 for Omaha games; $6 per half hour time rake for 5/10 NL and higher, $7 per half hour time rake for 5/5 PLO and 15/30 limit games.

Reduced rake at 6-handed or less.

Straddles: Limited UTG straddles only, $5 max for 1/2 and $25 max for 5/10
Player Comps: $1 per hour
Promotions: Mega Bad Beat Jackpot is Quad Jacks or better; Mini Bad Beat Jackpot is 10% of the Mega and Aces full of Tens or better. Players must use both hole cards and pot must be at least $10 with at least 4 players dealt into the hand.

Royal Flush giveaway is $500 plus $100 for other players at the table.
